General information

  • Participation in examinations requires student matriculation and the possession of a Student Identity Card. The Student Identity Card must be shown to the exam supervisor at the end of the exam.
  • During the introductory year of the bachelor program, examinations are organized by the dean's office of the Faculty of Business, Economics and Social Sciences (German)
  • An overview of the examinations is available at the Department of Social Sciences (German) (except for the bachelor level introductory year).

Exam registration and deregistration

Exam registration and deregistration takes place online via KSL for all students, including mobility and Erasmus students. The exact registration and deregistration dates must be considered (see examination dates or "registration and deregistration period" in KSL). Please contact our TAS-Support online in case of any difficulties with registration or deregistration in KSL.

Deregistration requests after the official deregistration deadline must be submitted in writing (E-mails or fax will not be accepted) to the institute (Attn. Jennifer Hockley) no later than 48 hours before the examination date/time (postmark). Deregistration form (German)

Written deregistration requests will not be confirmed. Deregistration due to sudden illness (less than 48 hours before the examination date) must be justified. Valid reasons include unforeseen events that make exam participation impossible, illness or an accident. In case of the latter two, a medical certificate is required. The certificate must be submitted to the institute within 10 days after the examination date. Students who abstain from an examination without timely deregistration or a valid reason will receive a grade 1.
